New Patients
Yes — we are actively accepting new patients across all four of our specialties: primary care, OB-GYN, general surgery, and dental. If you've had trouble finding a primary care physician who is taking new patients in Lower Manhattan, call us directly at (212) 385-3730. We will work to get you seen.
For most primary care, family medicine, and OB-GYN visits, no referral is required. You can call or book directly. For certain specialist services or surgical consultations, your insurance may require a referral — we recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm before your appointment. Our staff can also guide you through this process if you call the office.
Bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of any current medications (including over-the-counter drugs and supplements), any relevant medical records or test results from previous providers, and — if you have one — your referral authorization from your insurance company. Arriving 10–15 minutes early for your first visit gives our team time to complete your intake without cutting into your appointment time.
Our primary care and family medicine services are available to patients across a wide age range. Please call our office at (212) 385-3730 to discuss your child's specific needs and confirm the appropriate physician and services for their age group.
Insurance & Payment
Yes, on both counts. We accept Medicaid and Medicare, which is increasingly uncommon in Manhattan practices — particularly in Lower Manhattan, where many private offices have opted out. We also accept EmblemHealth, GHI, Workers' Compensation, and several other plans. Call us at (212) 385-3730 to verify your specific plan before your visit.
We currently accept Medicare, Medicaid, EmblemHealth (including GHI and HIP), and Workers' Compensation. We also accept credit and debit card payments for services. Insurance plans and accepted carriers change periodically — please call our office directly at (212) 385-3730 to confirm your specific plan is accepted before your appointment.
We accept credit and debit card payments for uninsured or self-pay patients. Please call our office at (212) 385-3730 to discuss your situation and get information about our self-pay rates before your visit. We also encourage eligible patients to explore Medicaid enrollment — our staff can help point you toward enrollment resources if needed.
Appointments
Same-day appointments are available based on schedule openings — we cannot guarantee availability, but we do our best to accommodate urgent needs. The best approach is to call us as early in the morning as possible at (212) 385-3730. For non-urgent concerns, booking ahead through our contact form ensures you get the time slot that works best for you.
Yes. We are open Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Saturday hours exist specifically for patients who cannot take time away from work during the week — Court Officers, city employees, legal professionals, and anyone else for whom a Tuesday afternoon off is simply not an option. We recommend booking your Saturday appointment in advance as slots fill quickly.
A first-visit or annual physical typically takes 30–60 minutes. Follow-up visits for an established condition usually run 15–30 minutes. Consultations for surgical evaluations or OB-GYN services may take longer depending on complexity. We schedule our appointments to give physicians adequate time with each patient — we do not operate on a conveyor belt.
Please call us at (212) 385-3730 during office hours to reschedule or cancel. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible so that we can offer your appointment slot to another patient. You can also send us a message via the contact form on our website and we will follow up by phone.
Services
Yes. We accept Workers' Compensation insurance and are experienced in the documentation and treatment requirements that come with WC cases. If you've been injured on the job, our physicians can provide the clinical evaluation, treatment, and paperwork your case requires. Call (212) 385-3730 to discuss your situation.
Telehealth availability varies by service and clinical need. Some follow-up visits and consultations can be handled virtually; initial visits and procedures requiring physical examination must be in-person. Please call our office to discuss whether a telehealth appointment is appropriate for your specific situation.
